the Holiday event that showcases private homes all over the Commonwealth, elegantly decorated for Christmas.

Top Virginia Realtors from all over the state are being selected to represent their region in the project. Choosing which local charity is to benefit from proceeds of the competition in their region is but one of the duties shouldered by these gracious, good-will ambassadors.

The most beautifully decorated family home in each region will be chosen by a panel of local judges. Those winning regional homes then become finalists in the contest that will ultimately name that one special home to be named the official Virginia Christmas House for 2011.

Don’t make the mistake of thinking this will be some sort of tacky light tour. Oh heavens, no. The watch words for this competition are definitely style, grace and impeccable Virginia taste.

Year after year, Virginia ranks at the top of American’s quality-of-life scale and is proclaimed one of the best in the world to raise a child. Amidst such praise, it seems almost churlish not to let Virginia’s beautiful homes really shine!
