2012 Virginia Christmas House:the Holiday event that showcases private homes all over the Commonwealth, elegantly decorated for Christmas.This year, House Heroes from all over the state will be introducing this wonderful Christmas event to their own communities. Each House Hero pledges to bring twelve homeowners into the contest and chooses which local charity will benefit from their own personal efforts. The most beautifully decorated family home in each region will be chosen by a panel of local judges. Those winning regional homes then become finalists in the contest that will ultimately name that one special home to be named the official Virginia Christmas House for 2012. Don’t make the mistake of thinking this will be some sort of tacky light tour. Oh heavens, no. The watch words for this competition are definitely style, grace and impeccable Virginia taste.
